month TWO pictures

Not much change from last month.  I was hoping to have more visible results! I HATE waiting!
(and I swear my ENTIRE house is completely clean...except for that one laundry basket over my right shoulder sitting on the couch mocking me! Please pretend to NOT see it!)

Up to date, I have lost nearly 44 lbs....but I STILL CANNOT TELL! I'm sorry to whine, but that's how I've been feeling lately.
The only upside that I AM feeling these days is stronger and cleaner.  Does THAT even make sense?! I'm NOT looking for compliments but rather just venting.  I'm still fitting in my pants that I've been wearing for years. I'm still wearing the same size clothes that I started with. 
I HATE being patient!

month two progress

It's that time again! The 15th of the month is my date to weigh and take measurements!

I've lost another 11.2 pounds!

TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS IS 41.2 poundage!!

(I'm frustrated though--because I didn't lose as much this month as I did last month.  I've chalked it up to the workouts and the fact that I'm building muscle.  I can feel that my legs are stronger!)

I started partying to Turbo Jam on 11/1/09.  I only did it 3 times a week for the first week, and then increased it to 4 and 5 times a week in beginning of December.  Fast forward to now, I exercise every day and love it!

I took my measurements:

Arms: -2
Waist: -4
Hips: -3

I've lost a total of 9 inches!!!

Just in the 6 weeks that I've been working out to Turbo Jam! I can stick with the exercise because I don't kill myself to the point of exhaustion, but I work hard.  I sweat.  I drink tons and tons of water.  I absolutely love it! PICTURES TO COME TOMORROW! Stay tuned...

get down and party!

I absolutely, positively, am head-over-heels in love with this!
-it's FUN
-the time goes by fast
-the intensity level is what you make it
-it's not a workout, it's a dance PARTY!
-it's easy to stick to
-it combines cardio with weight training
-I do it every day and dont' get burnt out or tired of it.  I actually LOOK FORWARD TO EXERCISE!

gulp gulp gulp

The experts say that we need to drink half of our body weight in ounces of water daily.  If you're like me, water is SO BORING! I drink it out of necessity to aid my weight-loss habit, but I don't really enjoy it.  Every hour I guzzle 8 ounces of water no matter what.
If I get tired of normal tasteless water, I have to get creative.
I fill up a pitcher and add a little bit of Crystal Light.  Or some sliced lemon.  Or some sliced cucumber.  I also drink a lot of herb tea during the day.  Mmmmmmmmmm!

The benefits that I've noticed since I started this program:
-my hair is so much more shiny and feels more healthy
-my skin is brighter and more supple
-my body has adjusted to the higher water intake and I don't spend all day in the bathroom
-I feel fuller longer
-I just feel CLEANER!
